We buy books in English on all subjects in hardcover and paperback. We are also interested in ephemera, which can include posters, photos, letters, maps, magazines, broadsides, etc.

There are certain things we are not interested in : textbooks, encyclopedias, National Geographics and most contemporary magazines.

We buy books every day in the store. There is generally aways a buyer on duty but it is good to call before you come just to be sure. We also will make house calls if the quantity is large and of interest.

We can’t buy every book. We sort through what you have and make you an offer in cash. We also offer trade credit for other books instead of cash. The trade amount is generally about twice the cash amount. You can spend your trade credit immediately or we can keep it on file for you to use later. We also have a free box and can often dispose of books we do not buy.
